The boxer originated in Germany. What we know of the breed, it is a bullenbeissen. Who is originally
from Belgium. These were crossed with the english bulldog.
In the 1880's, George Alt, imported a small bullenbeissen named "Flora" from France.
He bred Flora to an unnamed local dog. Had a fawn and white pup named Lechner's Box, "Box", Who inturned was bred back to
Flora and a pup of this breeding was Alt's "Schecken". In 1859,she was bred to a white bulldog named Dr. Toneissen's Tom.
Which this made her the dam of the first registered boxer in the German Studbook, known as Mulbaur's Flocki. "Flocki".
Schecken's sister, Alt's Flora II, was bred back to her sire Box, and produced Maier's Lord, who was
the first notable boxer sire.
In 1896 a German Boxer Club was formed in Munich.
They were the first to be trained as a German Police Dog, blind guidedog, and in the war was used as a messenger-pack
and scout. They stopped this because a lot of them were white and could be seen in the dark.
The boxer is a dog of muscular built, strong, self-assured, curious, loving,a jokster, extremely intelligent, with
a zest for life, loves children is people oriented, and has a don't worry be happy attitude.
They are a dog that Always wants to be with you no matter where, when, how, who or what you do.
So as a pup please be patient, love them, spend time with them, train them, and have fun. You
just might fall in love with them.

My AQHA Horses (barrel racers / runners)
I raise AQHA horses. Some PYBRA champions in barrels/poles and others champions in NTPBRA.
They come from great stock.
I have a stallion that is a grandson of Bug Alive in '75. He's standing. A liver chestnut, when bred
to color throws color. Gentle, laid-back, easy going.very well mannered.
I have won numerous barrel racers as my daughter, and now my grandsons are about to join the ranks.
I breed; train; sell these horses as well as teach barrel racing to people as well as the horses.
